Petit Rousset Gites are amazing. Jo and Dean have thought of everything possible to make your stay 5☆ star. With a choice of either 1 or 2 bedroom gites both styled beautifully and contain everything you will need for a wonderful stay. The surroundings are beautiful and after spending time in the pool during the day you can spend the evening relaxing on your own terrace with a glass of vino watching the amazing sunsets. Lots to do in the surrounding areas....wine tasting...markets...quiz night French style 😎 and lots more. A walk into Eymet is a must a lovely little place with a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere with plenty of choice for good food . You will not regret staying here I promise.

What can I say! A beautiful location within a stones throw of the historical town of Eymet. The gites contain everything you need for a relaxing self catered stay in The Dordogne. The added benefit of a private pool and large gardens really add to the experience. We had such an amazing week will definitely visit again ❤️❤️

Absolutely wonderful stay at Petit Rousset Gites! My partner and I had the most wonderful stay at Petit Rousset Gites - we absolutely loved it! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peaceful, serene vibes and how beautifully the gites have been renovated. Everything felt brand new, spotless, and incredibly comfortable - you can tell a lot of care has gone into every detail. The pool was always clean and refreshing, surrounded by beautiful green space, making it a perfect spot to relax after a day exploring the region. The rooms were immaculate with comfy beds, plenty of storage, and great natural light - exactly what you want from a holiday gîte. It was lovely to come back to such a tranquil place in the evenings. We adored the adorable Nellie 🐾, whose friendly presence added so much charm to our stay! The hosts were warm and welcoming - making us feel right at home while giving us space to unwind. The kitchen was well equipped, making it easy to prepare meals (though with so many excellent local restaurants nearby, we also enjoyed eating out). There’s a nice array of supermarkets close by, so stocking up was super convenient. We also loved exploring the local area - Eymet’s medieval streets, vibrant markets and choice of cafés and eateries were delightful. Whether you’re looking to chill with a good book by the pool, cook up fresh local produce, or venture out to enjoy French cuisine and wine, this place is a perfect base. Highly recommended for couples or families after a beautifully presented holiday home in a great location - we WILL be returning!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Petit Rousset Gîtes. The location is simply outstanding, right in the heart of rural France’s wine region, surrounded by beautiful countryside, vineyards, and charming scenery in every direction. It felt peaceful and authentic, yet there was so much to explore nearby. We loved visiting the surrounding villages and towns, each with its own character, markets, cafés, and history. It was the perfect base for slow mornings, and relaxed afternoons discovering the area. The gîte itself was perfect, well-kept, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The pool was a real highlight, ideal for cooling off after a day out and for unwinding in the evenings. The whole place had a welcoming, homely feel that made it easy to settle in right away. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience the beauty, food, and wine culture of rural France while staying somewhere peaceful and well cared for.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Le Petit Rousset. We loved it! From booking on their well-designed website to departure, everything was perfect. We stayed in the "Noyer" apartment. Beautifully furnished, fully equipped, and comfortable. They offered us lovely touches upon arrival (fresh bread, butter, delicious homemade brownies, jam and a bottle of Montbazillac !). The welcome guide contained lots of useful information. The property is very peaceful and offers a magnificent view. We had a wonderful stay, relaxing, enjoying breakfast and dinner on the terrace, and soaking up the atmosphere of Mother nature. Jo and Dean are charming and always available. Their dog, Nelly, is adorable. We highly recommend their “nid d’amour” (love nest). We're already planning to return soon, hoping they won't be fully booked…

We stopped off at Petit Rousset Gites for a week, on our way to Spain. Dean & Jo were hosts, were on hand for giving us ideas of places to visit, and at the same time giving us distance to enjoy the peace & tranquillity of their grounds, which are absolutely stunning. Their Gites are like home from home, with everything you need. Huge comfy beds, beautiful big bathroom and comfy lounge, with a fully equipped kitchen. Idea for families, couples to escape the hustle & bustle of everyday life through to retreats to reset & rejuvenate. We will definitely return for a longer stay in the near future.

We had an amazing time at this property Jo and Dean have thought of everything to make your stay very comfortable the Gite is well equipped with a modern shower room the large double bed was very comfortable and with the window shutters closed you can be reassured of a good night sleep. The view from the patio area over the garden is just lovely , you will get a visit from Nellie the dog but she is only making you welcome. As it says in the the advertising it's a short walk of about 25 minutes into Emyet where you will find very nice bars and restaurants and even a very English tea room. All so good we will return.

Myself, my wife and our daughter just spent 10 days at Petit Rousset. The proximity of the Gite to Eymet is perfect, you can drive there in 5 minutes or take a stroll through the meadow (which we did). The accommodation itself was beautiful and had everything you need. The hosts Jo and Dean were exactly how you would expect them to be, there when you had questions and left us alone when we didn’t. The photos on the website do not do this place justice. The first morning we woke up and sat on a bench watching the sunrise and it was fantastic. Couldn’t recommend enough, reasonably priced and very clean and comfortable. Thank for the great memories. We will be back!

Lovely 5 day stay at Petit Rousset Gite ✨️ The gite is immaculate, so spacious, clean and warming. It has everything you need and more. The views are amazing. We love that you feel in the country but yet so close to the town. We also feel so safe and at home here. The pool is big and so clean (cleaned daily too), perfect spot for a dip and catching the sun all day! Jo & Dean are amazing hosts, so nice and considerate. Our girls adored them, always rushing out to talk with them. 🤣 They are onsite and there for any questions you have or a chinwag. We gave some feedback about seats down at the bottom garden and within a few hours, Jo was on it😃 They also have a wee dog - Nellie🐾 who is adorable and loves to play and loves cuddles🥰 Our girls loved the hammock swing, pool (inflatables included) little wee games around the garden. Jo & Dean provided them with paper fans which they took everywhere. They also baked some delishious brownies and supplied us with some fresh bread, butter, Jam, milk and a bottle of wine 5 stars are not enough for this place⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jo & Dean have worked so hard to give people the best stay possible and should be so proud of what they have built. We loved everything, no faults what so ever and Can't wait to book our next trip and return 🤩 Love Dani, Jamie, Ava & Ellie-mae ❤️

A beautiful Gite, in a beautifully calm and peaceful setting. On arrival we were met by Jo and Dean who provided a warm welcome. They provided a guided tour, with clear expansions of how things worked. The Gite was large and airy, with a wonderful mix of traditional and modern and little things that make all the difference, like the double power sockets by the bed and the light switches in the right places. All the features were perfect: a huge, comfortable bed, plenty of storage space, a large bathroom with a huge shower. A very well equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge space with DVD TV. An outside table in a private patio. We had access to the large garden and pool. The views to the surrounding countryside were wonderful. On arrival the thoughtful gesture of fresh brownies, a baguette, butter, milk, a bottle of win, ice and plenty of tea and coffee were perfect. The beautiful town of Eymet was a 2km / 25 minute walk along the quiet lanes. The town had plenty of cafes and bars, several restaurants and we'd recommend the La Masion d'Amour for their crepes. A good supermarket is on the edge of town. A great location for exploring the local area including Bergerac and wine tasting tours. We highly recommend this wonderful Gite.

What an amazing place! We were greeted by the lovely hosts Dean & Jo (and the gorgeous Nellie dog!) and some very welcome treats of homemade brownies and jam plus the essentials bread, milk and butter etc. The gite is immaculate and finished to a very high standard and contains everything you could possibly need, they have thought of everything. The surrounding views are stunning especially when relaxing by the beautiful pool. The walk into the town of Eymet is about 20mins, and it’s a lovely place to mooch around with a great variety of bars, cafes and restaurants. Would thorough recommend as a great base to explore the Dordogne and we will definitely be back!

Dear Jo & Dean, Thanks for a fab stay. We've loved exploring the area and are hopeful of following in your footsteps in the near future. You've been so generous, from the treats when we arrived, to sharing elements of your own journey in relocating to France – really helpful, thanks! Wishing you ongoing success with the gîtes – take care. Julie & Col P.S. Thanks Nellie for the fur cuddles. It made being away from our own dogs easier to bear. 🐾
